A family or child photo session with me is all about capturing genuine moments, real personalities, and having a lot of fun along the way. I know that being told to sit still and smile on cue isn’t much fun, especially for little ones, so I keep things relaxed, playful, and light-hearted.

Using simple, natural prompts like *”whisper something silly to mummy”* or *”kiss the person who makes the best food”* helps bring out those beautiful, spontaneous reactions that truly reflect your family’s connection.

Sessions can take place in my studio or out on location, whichever feels right for you. If your child is easily distracted or loves being on the move, I’d recommend an outdoor shoot. When children are free to explore and run around, that’s when we see their happiest, most authentic selves shine through.

As for what to wear, I always suggest coordinating outfits without matching exactly. Soft, neutral tones or complementary colours tend to photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your faces and the love between you.
